The vision of the Turkish Century is strengthened by TRNC investments.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz visited Yenierenköy in the Karpaz Region, along with President Ersin Tatar, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Speaker of the Republican Assembly Ziya Öztürkler and Turkish Ambassador to Nicosia Ali Murat Başçeri, as part of their programs in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Addressing TRNC citizens, Yılmaz stated that they had implemented the largest-ever Economic and Financial Cooperation agreement with the TRNC. Yılmaz explained that the 21 billion lira annual budget was allocated according to priorities, saying, “We stand with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in every area, from agriculture and healthcare to education, industry, and technology.”
Yılmaz emphasized that Turkey fully supports the realistic and just two-state vision put forth by TRNC President Ersin Tatar, drawing attention to developments in the environment, saying, “We are in a difficult period. We must remain strong, united, and united. We are not in a period where we can rely on the mercy of others. We will be united, we will be strong, and we will protect our rights and our laws to the very end.”
Yılmaz stated that Turkey and the TRNC have made significant progress over the last 20-30 years, saying, "Is that enough? Of course not. We must do even more. We are building hospitals, schools, roads, and supporting agriculture. We are providing various support to informatics, universities, and tourism. We are providing support to our municipalities, just as we did with this project. And we will continue to do so, God willing."
Recalling that Türkiye entered its second century with the vision set forth by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Yılmaz said, "The Century of Turkey is not only the century of the Republic of Turkey, but also the century of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. God willing, we will rise together in this century."
Vice President Yılmaz announced that over 35 million lira had been invested in the Sipahi Youth Camp and Ziyamet Natural Products Market in Yenierenköy Dipkarpaz, and that renovation and equipment projects had been implemented at educational institutions. He also stated that the signatures for the Yenierenköy Elderly and Disabled Rehabilitation Center had been finalized, and that the foundation stone would be laid as soon as possible. He also noted that the Balalan-Yenierenköy road had eased traffic congestion and cut travel time in half.
Yılmaz emphasized that a large section of the long-awaited Dipkarpaz-Manastır road has been completed, renovation and asphalt paving work is ongoing, and accessibility to Karpaz has been enhanced with the Ziyamet, Dipkarpaz, İskele and Çayırova roads.
Yılmaz stated that approximately 20 million lira in resources have been provided for projects ranging from hotel and restoration renovations to beach arrangements, from cultural projects to the asphalting of village roads in the Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk region, and that 255 million lira has been allocated for the new health center to be built in Pamuklu, the tender for which has been completed, and the foundation stone will be laid soon.
Yılmaz stated that barley grants given to support livestock farming contribute to the regional economy, adding that the Maraş Health Center, which opened last month in the Maraş region, has begun providing services, resources have been allocated for the Maraş National Garden, social housing projects are ongoing, and dozens of producers are being supported with grants given to greenhouse producers.
Yılmaz said, "As the Republic of Turkey, we share a common destiny with you. We are one, we are together, and God willing, we will build the future together." Afterward, Yılmaz, Tatar, and Üstel chatted with Yenierenköy residents and answered questions.
