Stone truck overturned on Trabzon-Bayburt road: Traffic stopped, road closed

A stone truck overturned during road construction work in the Araklı district of Trabzon. While the driver escaped the accident without injury, the Trabzon-Bayburt road was closed to traffic. Long vehicle queues formed in traffic due to the work.

While road construction was continuing at around 10.30am in the Kaşıkçı area of ​​Karadere Road, a stone truck unloading filling material suddenly overturned.

Following the accident, the driver of the vehicle escaped without injury, and teams were dispatched to the scene to remove the overturned truck from its location.

The Trabzon-Bayburt road was completely closed to traffic due to the overturned truck. While there is heavy traffic, teams continue to work to remove the truck. Authorities announced that the road will be reopened to traffic after the work is completed.
