Secret code on your phone reveals whether your messages are being monitored

Every iMessage conversation on Apple phones generates a unique security code. This code works like a digital fingerprint. If you and the person you're talking to see the same code, your messages are end-to-end encrypted and secure.
However, if the codes don't match, two possibilities arise: Your messages may be monitored by third parties, or, more innocently, the other person may have changed their phone or reinstalled the app.
WHAT IS COMMUNICATION KEY AUTHENTICATION?To simplify this process, Apple has implemented a new security feature called "Contact Key Verification." This feature, accessible via Apple ID > Contact Key Verification in the iPhone's Settings menu, displays the mutual verification code.
If the codes are the same, you can tap "Mark As Verified".
This process saves the code to the person's contact card and sends you an alert if there are any changes in the future.
HOW TO ACTIVATE?Go to Settings > Apple ID > Contact Key Verification.
Turn on iMessage verification and tap Continue.
From now on, you can make sure that in your iMessage conversations, you're only talking to the person you actually want to communicate with.
