BREAKING NEWS | President Erdoğan: We will break the record for planting saplings in one day

Breaking news: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the "November 11 National Afforestation Day Program" held in Ankara.

President Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

• On this special day, I want to express my pleasure in joining the Green Homeland mobilization, where we, from 7 to 70 people, are united across 81 provinces and 922 districts. I hope that November 11th, National Arbor Day, will be auspicious. We are together to breathe life into our future.
• The risk of forest fires increases every year. We have fought the fires with all our might.
• My Minister of Agriculture and Forestry announced a one-year target of 550 million seeds and saplings. I believe this figure will rise to 600 million. Today, we will break the record for planting saplings in a single day in all 81 provinces. We will bring greenery to every inch of our homeland.
