According to Sabah, the Ministry warned consumers to avoid being exposed to such investment scams. The Ministry, which asked for caution against suspicious phone calls and social media content, noted that requests for deposits to any account should not be taken into consideration and that in the event of victimization, it is important to report the IBAN number of the accounts requested to be deposited or the phone number or website information contacted to the relevant Institutions. The statement said , "On the other hand, our Ministry of Trade will continue its fight against such deceptive advertising and unfair commercial practices targeting consumers within the scope of the legislation it is responsible for."
