Argentine economy makes big comeback

Argentine analysts lowered their year-end inflation forecast to 28.6 percent, according to the central bank’s monthly survey of market expectations. The revised estimate is 3.2 points lower than last month’s forecast. Analysts also raised their 2025 economic growth outlook by 0.1 point to 5.2 percent . The improvement in the inflation outlook follows Argentina ’s first major issuance in seven years, the sale of $1 billion in peso-linked bonds last week, which was 1.7 times oversubscribed.
