President Erdoğan: We will make this auspicious process a success

President Erdoğan congratulated the AK Party organizations on their holiday with a video message. Erdoğan said, "May the holiday be blessed for all humanity, especially our brothers and sisters in our heart and cultural geography. I pray to God that the Eid al-Adha will be a means of peace, tranquility and solidarity for our entire nation, the Islamic world and humanity, together with our AK Party organizations. On this beautiful day of Eid, I once again remember with mercy all our martyrs who fell for their country, flag and nation. I pray to God for mercy on our veterans who have passed away and wish our veterans who are still alive a blessed and long life. Eids are the holidays of our children, the flowers of our world's garden, before anything else and anyone else. I congratulate the children of our own country as well as the children of the ummah, and kiss their eyes filled with the joy of Eid. Again, on this meaningful day, I wholeheartedly congratulate all our elders who have spent their lives serving their country, family and children and are now retiring."

Erdoğan emphasized that Muslims are also experiencing this holiday bitterly due to the massacre, genocide, destruction and brutality policy that Israel has been carrying out in Gaza for 20 months, and said, "While we are experiencing the joy of reaching Eid al-Adha on the one hand, we also feel the pain of the oppressed people of Gaza who are celebrating the holiday among the rubble and under the bombs in the depths of our hearts. I once again respectfully greet my Palestinian brothers and sisters who have defended their homeland heroically despite the inhumane attacks of the Israeli government, who have risked their lives for Gaza, congratulate them on their holiday and remember our martyred brothers with mercy. I especially request you from my organization to remember orphans, destitute, oppressed and victimized children during the holiday and to help them experience the warmth of the holiday. Similarly, I expect you not to neglect the legacy of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our homeland, flag and independence on this holiday, as you always do."

'IT CANNOT PROVIDE EVEN THE SIMPLE MUNICIPAL SERVICES'

President Erdoğan said, "As the AK Party and the People's Alliance, we truly carry a great responsibility. Every incident that occurs in our country and region reminds us of the importance of the solidarity of our party and alliance. Just looking at the discussions we have witnessed on the main opposition front in the last 2 weeks is more than enough to understand how heavy our responsibilities are and how important our duty is. Those who made generous promises in the elections just a year ago are now unable to fulfill even the simplest municipal services. We are all watching with astonishment how the swamp of populism that the opposition has sunk into has brought our cities to the brink of an abyss. Let alone governing Türkiye, we are faced with a mentality that has become the vassal of a handful of corrupt politicians who are incapable of governing even the 3-5 municipalities they control without scandal, trouble, conflict or suspicion. Our most sincere wish, just like the millions of citizens they have condemned to incompetence, is for the main opposition party of Türkiye to be free of this lack of vision."

'THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE IS Türkiye'S ASSURANCE'

Erdoğan, stating that it is becoming clearer every passing day that the People's Alliance is the guarantee of Türkiye in every respect, said, "Only we, the AK Party and the People's Alliance have the will, experience, knowledge and horizon to take Türkiye to the levels it deserves under all headings, from education to justice, from foreign policy to democracy. The fact that the talks to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, which has entered its 4th year, were held in Istanbul is clear proof of this. The distance we have covered in the process of a terror-free Turkey has also confirmed our country's ability to produce local, national prescriptions for its own problems. We will hopefully bring this auspicious process, which will strengthen the eternal brotherhood of 86 million, to success without causing any road accidents. We are also receiving very positive news on the inflation, employment and export sides of the economy, which is another priority of ours. After the growth and export figures, we saw that we are progressing in line with our targets in the inflation data announced on Tuesday. I would like all our citizens to know this together with you. We will celebrate the Century of Türkiye with brotherhood, democracy, prosperity, development and all our citizens." We will work tirelessly until we make peace a century in our region. We will embrace all 86 million people on this path without any discrimination. We will not give credit to those who feed on tension, conflict and polarization. Especially on these blessed days, no one has knocked on their door, no one has conquered their heart, no one has asked how they are doing, we will not abandon anyone. Together, we will continue our struggle to serve the nation with this understanding. With these thoughts, I hope that the sacrifices you sacrifice will be acceptable in the sight of God Almighty. I pray to God that the worship of our brothers who are currently performing the Hajj in the holy lands will be accepted. I would like to thank our security forces and all public personnel who are on duty so that our country and our people can have a peaceful holiday. I wish God to grant us many more holidays, holidays like holidays, and I congratulate you once again on Eid al-Adha," he said.
