The incident occurred around 22:30 in the Osmangazi district's Kent Meydanı area. Allegedly, an argument broke out between FE, a 14-year-old foreign national, and SD and her daughters DD and SD, both of the same nationality, for an unknown reason. The argument quickly escalated into a knife attack. The angry attacker injured the mother and her two daughters with a knife he was carrying. Another person who tried to intervene in the fight was also the target of the stab wounds.

Citizens who witnessed the incident experienced great panic, and the situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Police teams arrived at the scene in a short time and took security measures in the area, while medical teams provided first aid to the injured. The injured were transferred to the High Specialization Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. It was learned that the health conditions of all four injured were good.

The attacker, FE, was caught at the scene by police teams and detained. While the suspect's procedures at the police station are ongoing, a large-scale investigation has been launched into the incident.
