A women-centered society emerged in Çatalhöyük: No traces of violence found

DNA analysis has shown that when couples got married, the men moved into the women's homes, suggesting that the property belonged to the women.
It was reported that no traces of violence or murder were found in this society, which dates back approximately 10,000 years. The scientists conducting the research emphasized that this peaceful structure may be directly related to the strong position of women in social life.
Findings from the excavation site, including female figurines and grave arrangements, confirm traces of this structure. The Çatalhöyük example reveals that women in prehistoric societies played decisive roles not only symbolically but also economically and socially.
