Guirassy brace: BVB books quarter-final against Real Madrid

Ryerson wins the ball from Arteaga on the right side of defense and immediately sends it through to Adeyemi on the right. He breaks through, cuts inside on the edge of the box, and then carefully lays it off to Guirassy in the middle. Guirassy, with his first touch, carefully curls the ball into the right corner from around 14 meters. A well-worked goal.
21' On the other side, a potential great opportunity for Bellingham after Ryerson's cross was just thwarted by a toe from the defense.
20' Monterrey is now coming forward with more force. Corona is sent through centrally and takes a direct shot from the edge of the penalty area. Kobel rushes out of the goal and makes a skillful save. The flag is raised. Offside? That would have been a tricky decision.
17' Hits the woodwork! A slipped cross from the left by Corona lands on the left post of the BVB goal. Kobel would have been there, though. A few seconds later, Deossa takes another shot, this time from the left-hand side. Again, Kobel safely saves the powerful shot.
15' Dortmund again. Adeyemi has space on the right side of the penalty area, but Andrada comes out of goal a little too late. Adeyemi cuts inside, but doesn't find a teammate. Monterrey is able to clear.
BVB took the lead with their first chance. The ball came to Guirassy on the left in front of the penalty area. After a quick one-two with Adeyemi, he found himself unmarked in front of goalkeeper Andrada on the left half and coolly slotted the ball into the net just wide of the left post.
11' The first clear shot comes from the Mexicans: Deossa fires a powerful shot with his left foot from around 22 meters in a half-right position. Kobel saves the poorly placed shot with only slight difficulty.
