Strategic partnership between Trip.com Group and Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency

Trip.com Group and the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) have signed a new strategic partnership that aims to promote Turkey as a “Super Destination” to travel lovers around the world.
This partnership aims to introduce Türkiye's cultural richness, natural beauty, and vibrant experiences to new audiences, particularly in Asia. According to Trip.com Group data, flight bookings to Türkiye in the first half of 2025 increased by 38% compared to the previous year, while hotel bookings also saw a 16% increase. This increase was driven by key markets like the UK, Germany, and China, while bookings from Indonesia saw a remarkable 178% increase.
This partnership represents a new chapter in Türkiye's tourism story, shaped by data, innovation, and collaboration. Trip.com Group and TGA will work together to strengthen airline connections, expand accommodation options, and enhance in-destination experiences (e.g., tours and activities). The two organizations will run joint campaigns highlighting Türkiye's diverse appeal, from Istanbul's timeless skyline and Cappadocia's captivating landscapes to Antalya's beaches, Izmir's heritage, and the unique flavors of Turkish cuisine.
Trip.com Group aims to reach millions of potential travel enthusiasts worldwide by leveraging its robust marketing and technology ecosystem. Focusing on Asia-Pacific markets such as China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, and Indonesia, it aims to strengthen the flow of travel between Asia and Europe and deepen Türkiye's connection to these key destinations.
