The National Women's Volleyball Team started the World Championship with a 3-0 victory over Spain

The Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team started the FIVB Volleyball World Championship held in Thailand with a victory.

The Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team won the match, played at an indoor arena in Nakhon Ratchasima, with scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-23. Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ also watched the match from the stands.

The Sultans of the Net will face Bulgaria in their second group match on Monday, August 25th at 3:30 PM. The match will be broadcast live on TRT 1.
