Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo made history by scoring Al Nassr's first goal in the Saudi Arabian Super Cup final.
In the Super Cup final played in Hong Kong, Al Nassr faced Al Ahli, whose national team player Merih Demiral plays for. After a 2-2 draw in normal time, Al Ahli defeated their opponent 5-3 in the penalty shootout, securing their second trophy.
Al Nassr's goals in the match were scored by Ronaldo from the penalty spot in the 41st minute and Marcelo Brozovic in the 82nd minute, while Al Ahli's goals were scored by Franck Kessie in the 45+6th minute and Roger Ibanez in the 89th minute.
Cristiano Ronaldo broke another career record with his goal in this match. The 40-year-old star player reached 100 goals for Al Nassr, becoming the first player in history to surpass the 100- goal mark for four different clubs and his national team.
Throughout his career, Ronaldo scored 450 goals for Real Madrid, 145 for Manchester United, 101 for Juventus, and 138 for the Portuguese National Team.
