Erbaş: Genocidal Zionists are the biggest threat to Muslims

The "Muslim Scholars" gathering, themed "An Islamic and Humanitarian Responsibility: Gaza," organized under the auspices of the World Union of Muslim Scholars and the Foundation of Islamic Scholars, began on August 22nd at the Island of Democracy and Freedoms. Attendees included President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş; President of the World Union of Muslim Scholars Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyiddin al-Qaradaghi; President of the Turkish Muslim Scholars Foundation Prof. Dr. Nasrallah Hacımüftüoğlu; President of the Jerusalem Committee of the International Union of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Marwan Abu Ras; Secretary General of the World Union of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Ali Mohammad al-Sallabi; Vice President of the World Union of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Mohammad al-Hasan al-Daddo; over 100 representatives of scholarly delegations from over 50 countries around the world, and numerous renowned Islamic scholars. The program began with a recitation from the Quran and included a video screening of the events taking place in Gaza. Representatives and scholars from around the world called from Istanbul for justice, solidarity, and humanitarian aid. The eight-day program, featuring workshops, panels, and press conferences, aims to strengthen humanitarian aid to Gaza, emphasize the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and remind people of international responsibilities.
Addressing the path to liberating Palestine from occupation, Erbaş said, “The path to liberating Palestine from occupation is for the Islamic Ummah to take concrete and decisive steps. It is for them to take a united stance. It is for them to present deterrent responses. I want to state clearly that the only solution is for the Ummah to come together and prevent oppression and occupation.”
IT IS A MATTER OF MORALITY AND CONSCIENCE FOR HUMANITYPresident of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş stated that they are here for Gaza, saying, “We are here for Gaza. We are here to mobilize the Islamic Ummah and the entire world against oppression. We are here to be the voice of the oppressed. Gaza and Jerusalem are not just a matter for Palestinians. For believers, it is a matter of faith and dignity. For humanity, it is a matter of morality and conscience. Today, genocidal Zionists are the greatest threat to Muslims. They are the greatest scourge to humanity. They are a stubborn microbe that destroys universal values. We must cleanse the lands of Palestine of this microbe. Gaza calls us to unity. We must cooperate. We must join forces. We must unite all hearts that beat for Palestine.”
Erbaş said, “I want to address the Islamic world: Occupying tyrants are taking advantage of the disunity of Muslims. They are emboldened by their fragmentation. They are exploiting their heedlessness. We know that occupying Zionists are cowards. But because Muslim countries fail to react appropriately, they pretend to be brave. The cause of this oppression is not the power of the oppressors, but the disunity of Muslims. Because of this disunity and heedlessness, the Islamic world is in a grave sin and a grave burden. Therefore, I say: O Muslims, let us unite. Let us be vigilant. Let us rid ourselves of discord and discord. Let us hold the oppressors accountable with all our might. Because the way to liberate Palestine from occupation is for the Islamic Ummah to take concrete and resolute steps. It is for it to take a united stand. It is for it to present deterrent reactions. I want to state clearly that the only solution is for the Ummah to come together and prevent oppression and occupation.”
"WE HAVE TO FIGHT AGAINST THE OCCUPIERS IN A STRONGER AND MORE PLANNED WAY"Erbaş, emphasizing their need to fight in a strong and planned manner, said, “We must fight against the occupiers even stronger and more planned. For every minute we spend speaking out and condemning, another innocent Gazan passes away. Every deterrent and unrealistic reaction emboldens the oppressors to perpetrate new massacres. I believe that the day we unite as the Islamic Ummah, our entire region, especially Gaza and all of Palestine, will find peace. When Jerusalem, Gaza, and Palestine are liberated, the peace and tranquility long awaited for years will prevail in our region and throughout the world. I believe with infinite hope that these difficult days will undoubtedly end. The oppression of the oppressors will surely end, and the faces of the oppressed will smile. Ultimately, victory will belong to the believers.”
