Keşkek, which the villagers made by mixing and pounding from evening hours until the first light of the morning, was served to the participants.

Mustafa Tatlı, spokesperson for the Belörenliler Assistance and Solidarity Association, said the keşkek tradition in their village has a history spanning over a century.

Tatlı explained that in the past, villagers would collect ingredients together to make keşkek, but today the tradition continues with the donations collected through the association.

Tatlı stated that they continue their tradition under the name "Belören Keşkek Festival" and said, "We are making it again with the help of all our villagers, young and old, men and women."

Tatlı emphasized that keşkek is an important part of the region's culture, saying, "It's not just a food; it represents solidarity, togetherness, and sharing as a part of our culture. It continues as a day for those who can't be together throughout the year to share their joys and troubles. We want to pass on our tradition to future generations."
