The organs of a young man who died in a traffic accident brought hope to two people.
Özkan Keleş, who was seriously injured in a traffic accident and taken to Osmaniye State Hospital, died of brain death on July 5.
Keleş's family decided to donate organs to bring hope to other patients.
Keleş, who suffered brain death, had his liver and kidney removed in an operation performed at the hospital.
The young man's liver was sent to Bursa by air, and his kidney was sent to Gaziantep by land to be transplanted to patients waiting for organs.
The transfer process was monitored by the Osmaniye Provincial Health Directorate.
