Karakan applied to Nizip State Hospital with his own means. After the first intervention, Karakan was transferred to Gaziantep City Hospital and underwent surgery.

Karakan's severed earlobe was stitched back into place with a super microsurgical operation that lasted approximately 2.5 hours.

Gaziantep City Hospital Deputy Chief Physician Specialist Dr. Mehmet Doğan said that the hospital provides qualified health services to patients with its advanced technological infrastructure and expert team.

Doğan said, "Our goal is not only to treat patients, but also to restore their quality of life and self-confidence."

Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist Op. Dr. Serkan Tokgönül, who performed the operation, said that the patient's earlobe came with a detached earlobe.

Tokgönül, who stated that the operation was successful thanks to advanced technology, noted the following: "This is a technically very difficult surgical intervention. It requires high skill, fast decision-making and teamwork. Our patient is currently in very good condition. We also achieved a satisfactory result in terms of aesthetics. This is not only a successful surgery, but also an important example that demonstrates our hospital's surgical capacity and team harmony. We repaired the thinnest veins in the body with the super microsurgery method."

Fadıl Karakan stated that he found the piece of his ear that was torn off after the incident and preserved it properly, and said, "I stayed in the hospital for 7 days. I have no problems now. My ear is back to its former state. I would like to thank all the healthcare professionals who contributed."
