Actor Emre Bulut bought a car with a fake police badge, his defense was disappointing

Actor Emre Bulut allegedly showed his friend AU a fake police badge and told him he was a commissioner, and then asked for his car as a loan.
According to Sabah newspaper, AU, who had loaned his vehicle to Bulut, was unable to reach him after a while and filed a complaint against him. The Tokat Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has filed a lawsuit against Bulut for "breach of trust," seeking a prison sentence of six months to two years.
An arrest warrant was issued for Bulut, who was taken into custody and brought to court.
"I NEVER SAID I WAS A POLICE OFFICER"
In his defense, Bulut stated that he knew AU from the hospital, saying, "One day, I asked for his car when I had work to do, and he gave it to me. He immediately started calling me that evening and asked me to return it. I was out of town with the car. I returned that evening and returned the car to him at 12:00 a.m. I never said I was a commissioner or on duty at the police department. I'm an actor anyway; that's how everyone knows me."
Bulut demanded his acquittal, saying that he had the police badge on him because he was an actor.
Released
At the hearing held at the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance, actor Emre Bulut was released. The case was postponed.
