Turkish scientists developed: UAV bodies will repair themselves

Turkish scientists have made a discovery that enables the self-renewal of the material used in the bodies of air and space vehicles, especially unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and armed unmanned aerial vehicles ( SIAVs ).
The patent for the project developed by Prof. Dr. Necdet Geren and his team, a faculty member at Çukurova University (ÇÜ) Department of Mechanical Engineering, who have been working on fiber-reinforced polymer-based composites for the last 10 years, has also been received.
Prof. Dr. Geren stated that they have obtained 8 patents on the subject and that they are expecting support from industrialists so that they can stay in Türkiye and benefit from them.
"IT WILL BE THE FUTURE OF THE AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY"
Prof. Dr. Necdet Geren stated that they developed self-healing fiber-reinforced polymer composites and noted:
