"We are giving weapons to Ukraine. We are working with them to help them," Trump said, referring to former US President Joe Biden sending too many weapons to Ukraine and emphasizing the need to ensure that enough weapons are allocated for the security of the United States.
He said it was "time" to talk to Iran.US President Trump said Special Representative Steve Witkoff was doing a "fantastic" job in the nuclear negotiations with Iran, adding, "Iran wants to talk. I think they want to talk to me, and it's time for them to do that."
Emphasizing that they did not want to harm Iran, Trump said, "They were beaten up. Obviously, both (Israel and Iran) were exhausted, but Iran was really beaten up."
The US President, who nominated Witkoff as his address regarding the negotiations with the Tehran administration, noted that he could also be involved in these negotiations "if necessary".
Asked whether he still wanted to take over Gaza, Trump said: "I want the people of Gaza to be safe."
