TPAO's oil exploration license in Kırklareli has been extended for 2 years.

The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources' General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs has extended the license for oil exploration activities conducted by the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) in Kırklareli. The decision was published in the Official Gazette.

According to the Ministry's decision, TPAO's oil exploration license with the "AR/TPO/K/F18-b2" sheet number will be renewed for 2 years and will be valid until July 17, 2027.

It was also announced that the oil exploitation licenses held by Thrace Basin Natural Gas Turkey Corp., Pinnacle Turkey Inc., and Corporate Resources Enerji AŞ in Tekirdağ have been extended by 10 years. The licenses will remain valid until October 14, 2035.
