The President of the Pastry Chamber killed two of his employees and committed suicide.

Elif Kılıç, who works at a patisserie owned by Kerim Üre, the President of the Antalya Pastry Association, sat at a table with her friend Hasan Fırat and began chatting. An argument soon broke out between the two for reasons yet unknown. Allegedly, when both sides became increasingly vocal during the argument, the owner, Kerim Üre, came to the table. Üre and Hasan Fırat attempted to calm the two sides down, leading to a verbal exchange. Within minutes, the tension escalated into a fight. During the ensuing scuffle, Kerim Üre pulled a gun from his waistband and shot Hasan Fırat. Fırat, who was targeted by the bullets, fell to the ground, and Elif Kılıç, who tried to break up the fight, was also shot.
WOUNDED COULD NOT BE SAVED
As Kerim Ürey was fleeing the scene, gunshots caused alarm and fear in the area. Numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene after being alerted by bystanders. Paramedics administered first aid to Kılıç and Fırat, who were lying bleeding on the ground, before transporting the injured to hospitals by ambulance. Despite doctors' best efforts, Kılıç and Fırat, who were in critical condition, could not be saved.
Found dead in his car
Following the incident, police launched a large-scale search for Kerim Üre, who fled the scene in his car. Shortly after, police spotted the vehicle parked on 5509th Street in the Habibler neighborhood of the Kepez district and approached to check it. An investigation determined that Üre had died while driving, having been shot in the head. A gun was also seized inside the car. Initial investigations suggest Üre may have committed suicide with his own weapon.
Police have taken security measures around the area. Crime scene investigators have processed evidence at both the bakery and the location where Üre's vehicle was found. Police are reviewing both eyewitness accounts and security camera footage to determine the cause of the argument. The investigation is ongoing.
