According to the inflation figures announced in January, February, March, April and May, retirees are already guaranteed to receive a 15.09% raise in the calculations for the last 5 months. If inflation is not negative, there will be no salary raise below this. Inflation is expected to be around 1.5% in June. In this case, the rate of increase to be made to retirees' salaries will increase to 16.81%.

Retirees receiving their salaries at the lower limit will receive a salary of 14,469 liras with the increase made in January. If the increase rate is 16.81%, the lowest pension will be 16,901 liras. If the average pensioner receiving 17,000 liras is 1.5%, their salary will increase by 2,857 liras. The salary of a pensioner receiving 17,500 liras will increase by 2,941 liras, the salary of a pensioner receiving 18,000 liras will increase by 3,025 liras, and the salary of a pensioner receiving 18,000 liras will increase by 3,109 liras. The calculations above are based on inflation expectations. June inflation will be announced on July 3rd and the exact increase rates will be clear.

More than 4 million retirees receive their salaries from the lowest base. AK Party Group Deputy Chair Leyla Şahin announced in her statement that they are working on the lowest retirement salary and that it will be shared with the public soon. Retirees whose basic salary is below 15 thousand 469 liras will not be able to receive a raise in July if the legal regulation is not completed. Those who want to learn their basic salary can log in to e-Government, type “4A Retirement Monthly Information” in the search bar, then select the “Detail” section on the screen that opens and reach their basic salary. In order to learn their basic salary, they need to subtract the amount where it says “5510 Additional 19 Amount” from 14 thousand 469 thousand liras. Thus, the basic salary including additional payment is revealed.
