Prof. Dr. Alaeddin Yavaşca will be commemorated at AKM

Istanbul Historical Turkish Music Ensemble will introduce the artist's Ayin-i Şerif in Acem makam to music lovers. The work, which has a special form with both spiritual and musical depth, expresses the mystical understanding of Mevlevi and the spirit of the sema through music.

The artistic director of the event is M. İhsan Özer, and the general coordination is undertaken by Bahri Güngördü. The Mevlevi recital to be held within the scope of the event will be performed under the presidency of Sheikh Nezih Çetin.
