Sultangazi Municipality launched a special Bosphorus Tour event for women

Sultangazi Municipality, which brings colorful events to the district's residents during the summer months, has launched a Bosphorus tour specifically for women. Participants were picked up by shuttle from Sultangazi and transferred to a ferry from Balat. The women enjoyed the Bosphorus's azure waters, interspersed with various shades of green, and its unique scenery. The tour, which attracted considerable interest from the women of Sultangazi, included simit (Turkish bagel) and tea.
Sultangazi Mayor Abdurrahman Dursun said, "We organize many events so our neighbors can participate in various activities and take a break from the stresses of daily life. Thinking a ferry ride would be enjoyable on hot summer days, we launched special Bosphorus tours for women. Istanbul is a city with a unique landscape and natural beauty. We wanted our neighbors to experience this unique spectacle with us. This year, we're also organizing tours in the evenings and on Sundays so that working women can also participate. There's a high demand for Bosphorus tours. We welcome all neighbors."

Erol Bulut, President of the July 15th Veterans Platform, and accompanying platform members visited the July 15th Martyrs' Memorial in Edirnekapı. Answering questions from members of the press at the memorial, Bulut made statements regarding the ongoing PKK disarmament process.
Erol Bulut, President of the July 15th Veterans Platform, stated, "We can't get anywhere by clenching our fists; we must now open our hands. We realize we can't get anywhere by clenching our fists; we must open our hands. The current situation also dictates this." Addressing the role of Devlet Bahçeli, Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party, Bulut stated that there were initial hesitations, but that they have now seen this as a very beneficial step.
Bulut emphasized that the PKK terrorist organization's weakening thanks to the strength brought about by the unification in Syria stems from the power of the Republic of Turkey. Stating that they are monitoring the latest developments in Syria, Bulut said, "We have 40,000 martyrs. What we need to do here is work to prevent more martyrs tomorrow. We must use our strength together so that the enemy's planes and artillery cannot intimidate us."
"If we fall out with each other, our projects will be in vain. We must stand by our state in the process of brotherhood."Erol Bulut stated that we must stand with our state, otherwise hostile elements will turn the country against each other and the projects underway will be in vain. Bulut called for "Let's not have 40,000 martyrs tomorrow. We must stand with our state in this process of brotherhood," adding that their hearts ache for the martyrs but, from a broader perspective, we must be inclusive, otherwise a solution will be impossible. Finally, Bulut added that Israel is trying to obstruct the process and wants to re-arm the burned weapons.
