Safe traffic enforcement from police teams in schools

Police teams are stationed in front of 21 schools in Kartal, where vehicle density is high, to help students move safely to and from school.

Kartal Municipality police teams have implemented all necessary measures to ensure students can safely enter and exit their schools. To ensure students and parents do not encounter any security risks during school entry and exit times, the teams are controlling traffic flow. In areas with high traffic, police officers ensure students cross safely at pedestrian crossings. These traffic enforcement measures, implemented by the Kartal Municipality, continue regularly every weekday at 21 schools in various neighborhoods across the district. Working to ensure the safe transportation of children and their families, the teams also manage traffic flow and prevent potential disruptions.

Kartal Mayor Gökhan Yüksel stated that this initiative was implemented to support the educational process, saying, "Our municipal police teams are on duty at busy points throughout the district to control traffic flow so that our children have a safe and peaceful educational environment. They are providing guidance to ensure the safety of our children at school entrances and exits. Our children are very valuable to us. Their safety and education will always be our priority."
