MAGA promises cost money

Broadcasting company ABC has suspended host Jimmy Kimmel 's program indefinitely due to his comments on the assassination of US right-wing activist Charlie Kirk .

Kimmel said during his program that Republicans were exploiting Kirk's assassination and were trying to capitalize on it. Kimmel began his remarks by referring to the "MAGA (Make America Great Again) gang led by Trump," and included the following remarks on his program:

"The mags are desperately trying to characterize the boy who killed Charlie Kirk as anyone but themselves, and they'll do anything to write it off as a score to themselves."

He made fun of Trump

Kimmel criticized the country's flag-lowering regime and mocked President Trump's reaction to the assassination:

"This is not the kind of mourning a grown man would do over the murder of a friend. This is the kind of mourning a four-year-old would do over the death of a goldfish."

"Great news for America," Trump said after the decision was announced.
