A fire that broke out in a forested area in the Hacılar neighborhood quickly spread, fueled by wind. Taşoluk and Hacılar neighborhoods were evacuated as a precaution to prevent the fire from spreading to residential areas. Numerous homes in the neighborhood were completely destroyed by the flames, and intensive efforts are underway to prevent the fire from reaching the Bayat neighborhood.

Firefighters and forestry crews involved in the firefighting efforts in the area are facing challenging times. While fighting tirelessly to extinguish the flames, the crews were caught in the flames. Footage shows some crews caught in the middle of the flames, with vehicles reaching the scene through the fire line.
