Lawyer Saldıroğlu, who was arrested for distributing İmamoğlu's posts: Do not despair, we will all fight shoulder to shoulder

Arrested for the crime of "insulting the president", CHP's former Beykoz Youth Branch President, lawyer Burak Saldıroğlu , sent a message from Silivri Prison saying, "Do not despair. We will fight shoulder to shoulder against every injustice committed. I look forward to overcoming this injustice as soon as possible and returning among you."

After CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu's account on the X platform was blocked, lawyer Burak Saldıroğlu, who distributed his posts on the streets and shared these moments on social media, was arrested on the grounds that he insulted the President in his social media post about a 92-year-old citizen kissing President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's hand.

Lawyer Bahtiyar Güner from the Lawyer's Voice Initiative (ASI) visited his colleague Burak Saldıroğlu, who is being held in Silivri Prison. After the meeting, Saldıroğlu delivered a message through Güner and included the following words:

"Dear friends, many greetings to all of you. Do not despair. We will fight shoulder to shoulder against every injustice. I look forward to overcoming this injustice as soon as possible and returning to you. Greetings from Silivri."
