Home care assistance deposited into accounts: Minister Göktaş announced 5.4 billion lira payment

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş made an important statement regarding home care assistance . It was reported that the support payments provided regularly every month for citizens in need of care began to be deposited into accounts as of May.

Minister Göktaş announced that a total of 5.4 billion liras was transferred to the accounts of beneficiaries this month within the scope of the Home Care Assistance, which was initiated to enable fully dependent individuals to continue their lives with their families.

This support model, which was launched in 2006, aims to ensure that disabled individuals can continue their lives as a family. Göktaş, who stated that approximately 541 thousand citizens currently benefit from this assistance, announced that 10,125 TL is paid monthly to each beneficiary.

Minister Göktaş said, “We have started to deposit a total of 5.4 billion liras of Home Care Assistance into accounts this month for fully dependent citizens and their families who are cared for at home. I hope that the payments will be beneficial for all our disabled citizens and their families.”
