Golf Club Andino: Carlos Riveros, owner of the Le Cadran Jewelry tournament, on an unforgettable weekend

A new edition of the traditional Joyería Le Cadran tournament was held at the Golf Club Andino links, which was scheduled over a distance of 18 holes, under the medal play format.

A very good number of golfers attended the event organized by the leading golf club in our province, and enjoyed a splendid day, as well as a course presented in excellent condition.

In this way, the protagonists managed to display the best of each one, where the scores, especially of the winners, reflected their good play to achieve their objectives.

Thus, in the main men's category, Carlos Riveros stood out with his first-place finish, winning with a net score of 69 strokes (1 under par); followed by Luis Rovello, who totaled 72 net strokes for his round.

In the second men's category, Felipe López Nadal took first place after the automatic tiebreaker (lower handicap), with Gustavo Rodríguez finishing second. Both players posted net scores of 69 strokes (1 under par).

Luis Pedro Corti was the owner of the first place among the senior gentlemen (over 55 years of age), where his triumph was determined with his final score of 66 net strokes (4 under par); while the second place was Aníbal Villegas, who totaled 68 net (2 under par).

On the ladies' side, Pilar Puldain finished in first place, after posting a total of 73 net strokes; while second place went to Sofía Calad, who used 74 strokes for her round.

Finally, among the senior ladies (players over 50 years of age), the winner was a regular winner, Perla Agüero, who totaled 69 net for her round; being followed by Zulema Fernández, with a net of 70 strokes .
