The surprising use that more and more users are giving to Vinted, with which they are saving hundreds of euros.

The secondhand clothing buying and selling platform Vinted has become an essential app for millions of people, and it's a great way to find all kinds of clothes at a good price.
This app has grown significantly in recent years, but according to FranceInfo, a social phenomenon has emerged in recent months, with hundreds of users using the app for purposes other than its original purpose.
According to reports, more and more users are taking advantage of Vinted's shipping service to send their suitcases and boxes long-distance because it's much cheaper than any other type of parcel service. Apparently, they buy the items listed themselves, or have a friend buy them , and then send them via InPost, SEUR, or VintedGo, with rates much lower than those of Correos or similar services.
"We paid about 30 euros to ship some boxes. If we had mailed them, it would have been around 100 or 120 euros," explains one user who admits to having done this. "Thanks to this technique, we didn't have to rent a moving truck. Given the distance, it would have cost between 250 and 300 euros."
There are many cases like this, especially young people who take advantage of the platform's cheaper shipping options to save costs during moves where they can't fit everything.
However, Vinted reminds us that these practices are against regulations and that customers must list their items separately to sell them to third parties, not to themselves.
