Plum jam tested: Which plum jam tastes best?

Whether as a spread, filled into a sweet pastry, as a marinade for roasts, or as a surprising ingredient in sauces, plum jam is a fruity-sweet specialty that has a wide range of uses in the kitchen. But which plum jam tastes particularly like fresh fruit? Fruit farmer Franz Kurz from the Baden community of Sasbach, together with his wife Ineke Kurz, blind-tasted eleven different brands of plum jam from the supermarket, judging the products based on aroma, flavor, color, consistency, and price.
