Ice Hockey World Championship 2025: Where can you watch the games of the German ice hockey stars?

The Ice Hockey World Championship begins in a few hours. Unlike the German matches, the opening games will not be available to watch for free.
The Men's Ice Hockey World Championship will take place from May 9 to 25 in Sweden (Stockholm) and Denmark (Herning). In addition to the two hosts, Germany and defending champions the Czech Republic are among the 16 participating nations. Those interested in watching all of the German national team's games have several free options to choose from.
Ice hockey fans can watch all matches involving German participation on TV on ProSieben, as well as via the streaming platform Joyn or ran.de. All three alternatives also feature two quarterfinal matches, both semifinals, and the final. Joyn, ran.de, and ProSieben Maxx will broadcast additional selected matches throughout the tournament.

The other dates with German participationOn May 11, Germany will face Kazakhstan, on May 13, they will face Norway, and on May 15, they will face Switzerland. The first face-off is at 4:20 p.m. in each match. The match against the USA on May 17 begins at 12:20 p.m., and defending champions Czech Republic will be waiting for them again on May 19 at 4:20 p.m. Group B concludes with a match against hosts Denmark on May 20 at 8:20 p.m.
