"Sometimes I cry when they go to their dad's," she told People in 2023, referring to her ex's home, which he shares with wife LeAnn Rimes. "They have a staff. They have this giant mansion. They have kind of everything they want."

"And with me, we have a small house and we move every other year," she added. "And it's hard. They see the struggle is real."

But the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum couldn't be more "thrilled" about the young men her sons have grown up to be.

"They say please and thank you. They're so so sweet," she explained. "And every time they go to someone's house, the parents call me and like, 'Oh, Jake is the sweetest.' Or Mason—'Your kids are so polite.'"
