Brothers who went for a picnic in Konya got stuck on the mountain
Eren Bedirhan Ateş and his older brother Muzaffer Mustafa Ateş came to the Kuğulu Nature Park in the Seydişehir district with their families for a picnic. The two brothers went to the mountainous area in the Söğütlü Çeşme area at around 19:00. After wandering around for a while, the two brothers lost their way back and got stranded in the mountainous area. The two brothers called the 112 Emergency Call Center, stating that they were stranded and asked for help. Upon notification, gendarmerie, UMKE, AFAD and municipal teams were dispatched to the region. Brothers Eren Bedirhan and Muzaffer Mustafa Ateş were rescued by the teams at around 23:00. The two brothers were taken to the Seydişehir State Hospital for a precautionary health check.
