Murat Sancak: I stand by my word

Adana Demirspor Club President Murat Sancak stated that if the club's debts are paid off, he will hand over Adana Demirspor to the fans and the dynamics of the city without any expectations.

In a statement on the club's social media account, Sancak reminded the club that he had previously raised this issue on various occasions, saying, " I had declared to Telat Şahin and Umut Düşkün, who came to meet with me, that if our club's debts were paid off, I would hand over Adana Demirspor to the dynamics of the city and its fans without any expectations. Now I am declaring this to you, our esteemed community and the public. I stand by this promise." Sancak stated that he is closely following the campaign launched under the leadership of the Long Live Demirspor Platform and emphasized his readiness to do his part to ensure the smooth progress of this process. He explained that they are working to make urgent payments as they are due, and continued: "I will transfer shares in the amount of the debt paid by the Long Live Demirspor Platform. Once the debts are paid off transparently and officially during this process, I will hand over the management of Adana Demirspor to the true owners of this city, its fans. This is not a promise, it is a commitment. The amount collected in this campaign will be transferred to the association in proportion to the shares. The company share transfer will be transferred to the ADS Association, and the association's board of directors, which will benefit ADS, will be transferred to a management team comprised of the city's dynamics and fans."
