Inter President Marotta: We will talk to Hakan Çalhanoğlu in the next few weeks

Giuseppe Marotta, the president of Inter , one of the Italian Serie A teams, made statements regarding Hakan Çalhanoğlu , whose transfer to the Super League representative Galatasaray is in question.

Speaking to the Italian media, Giuseppe Marotta said the following about the claims that the national football player wants to leave the team: "When a player shows that he wants to leave, he will see that the door is wide open. But let's not be a burden to him, we need to talk to each other in the coming weeks and if he wants to leave, we will meet with him."

"We must always thank him for what he has done. The transfer window officially starts tomorrow. We are ready to listen to him and the others. For now, no one has told us they want to leave the team," said Marotta.

Stating that the national football player should not be targeted, Marotta said, "We should not blame Çalhanoğlu. We have not spoken to him yet, we will in the next few weeks. If we decide to follow different paths, we will do so, but we are not there yet."
