İmamoğlu's 'my friend Trump' reaction to Erdoğan: For a photo frame...

Ekrem İmamoğlu, the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and the Presidential Candidate of the Republican People's Party (CHP), sent a new message from Silivri Prison where he is being held.

İmamoğlu also made a statement regarding AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's reference to US President Donald Trump as "my friend."

İmamoğlu said, “We are fighting for a respected Turkey that stands tall, draws strength from its people, not one that seeks help from leaders of other countries for a photo op by saying ‘my friend’.”

IMAMOGLU: WE PROMISE JUSTICE

İmamoğlu's message published by the Presidential Candidate Office's X account is as follows:

“We promise to develop our country.

We dream of a Türkiye that cares for our nation, the youth, the retirees, those looking for work and those trying to start a business.

We want a country that paves the way for those who want to produce, and where the prayers of those who want abundance in their fields are answered.
