Hundreds of students received training at Haliliye summer sports schools

In order to protect young people from harmful habits and to increase their awareness of sports, summer sports schools opened every semester and provided training in many branches such as basketball, volleyball, taekwondo, football, folk dances, judo, and preparatory courses for the School of Physical Education and Sports (BESYO) and the Police Vocational Training Center (POMEM).
The number of participants drew attention
Participation in summer courses was remarkable. 3,875 students took part in swimming, 1,380 in basketball, 1,066 in taekwondo, 894 in volleyball, 708 in the BESYO preparatory course, 540 in football, 450 in fitness, and 418 in judo.
Students enjoyed the training, which was conducted by expert instructors in their respective fields, while also learning. Haliliye Municipality announced that registration for winter sports schools has begun, following the summer sports schools. Courses to be offered during the winter season will include basketball, volleyball, taekwondo, judo, football, folk dances, and preparatory courses for BESYO (School of Physical Education and Sports), POMEM (Public Health and Science Center), and Police Vocational School (PMYO).
WINTER SEMESTER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED
Citizens who want to register for winter sports schools can get information from the Haliliye Municipality Communication Center at 444 22 63 or register in person at Devteyşti Eyüp Cenap Gülpınar Sports and Life Center, Sabiha Özlek Sports Hall and Aliya İzzetbegovic Sports Center.
