Palworld's official release date has been announced

The game, which has reached approximately 35 million people since its early access release, has reached even more people thanks to its affordable price. One of the most-played games of 2024, Palworld, which is in early access, is preparing for its full release in 2026.

2026 will also see the release of long-anticipated games like GTA 6. Palworld has also been added to the 2026 developments that have excited the gaming world. The full version of the game is said to feature major innovations.

In a YouTube video published on September 16, 2025, Palworld's communications director and publishing manager explained that Pocketpair's goal is to release Palworld next year and that the company is planning "a really huge amount of content" for version 1.0.

Pocketpair, the developer of the game, also stated that hundreds of new Pals and missions to complete the main story will be added in the full version.

It was also stated that there was still a lot of work to be done before Palworld could leave early access. There's an ongoing legal dispute between Pocketpair and Nintendo. In September 2024, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company filed a lawsuit against Pocketpair due to its similarities to Pokemon games.

Nintendo accused Pocketpair of infringing on "multiple patents." The claims in the case and the patents it allegedly infringed were released in November 2024. These patents, analyzed by GameIndustry.biz, claimed Nintendo designed the patents "with the intention of targeting Palworld."

Pocketpair, on the other hand, won't be developing games as it will be working on other projects. Instead, it will handle developer funding, marketing, and distribution.
