Lawyer who distributed İmamoğlu's posts on the street was arrested

Lawyer Burak Saldıroğlu, the former head of the Beykoz Youth Branch of the Republican People's Party (CHP), was detained on the grounds that he printed out the posts of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, distributed them on the streets, and shared these images on his social media account.
After the procedures at the police station, Saldıroğlu was referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan and referred to the Criminal Court of Peace on charges of "insulting the President."
The judgeship decided to arrest lawyer Saldoroğlu.
His colleagues, who followed the developments both at the police station and at the courthouse throughout the day, protested the arrest decision with applause.
