An era is coming to an end at Google: The 27-year-old button is being removed completely

The "I Feel Lucky" feature was a shortcut that would directly direct the user to the most appropriate result for the word typed into Google. For example, a user who typed "Sözcü" into the search box and clicked on this button would be directed directly to Sözcü's homepage.
However, in recent days, some users have started to see the "AI Mode" option instead of this button. Although it is not in the classic location just below the search box, some users have noticed this new feature next to the visual and voice search icons.
"WE ARE TRYING NEW WAYS"According to the news in Webtekno, Google spokesperson Ashley Thompson made an official statement on the subject and confirmed to The Verge that they are part of this transition:
"We're looking at different ways to experiment to make it easier for people to access our useful features. AI Mode is just one of those attempts."
While this statement does not directly confirm that the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button will be removed entirely, it is clear that AI Mode was highlighted and expanded during the testing process.
IT HAS LOST ITS FUNCTION IN RECENT YEARSThe "I'm Feeling Lucky" button, which has been rarely used in recent years, has lost much of its functional importance for Google due to its low usage rate, despite its nostalgic value. This made it one of the first functions to be replaced with artificial intelligence features...
There is no exact timetable yet for when AI Mode will be available to all users or whether the "Lucky" button will be removed completely...
