President Erdoğan's 'Victory Journey' message

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan posted a message on his social media account regarding the "Victory Voyage" event held aboard the TCG Anadolu to commemorate next week's Victory Week. In his message, President Erdoğan stated the following:

On the occasion of Victory Week, which we will observe next week, 350 of our young people are on the Victory Voyage aboard our TCG Anadolu. The breakthroughs we have made at sea in recent years and the defense industry initiatives we have undertaken are the strongest guarantees of our independence and deterrent power. Our TCG Anadolu has become one of the most important symbols of this vision. With our new submarines, modern warships, and growing fleet, which we continue to build with national resources, our heroic army is now, thankfully, powerful enough to protect not only its own coasts but also the peace and security of its region. I congratulate my young brothers and sisters embarking on this journey with the TCG Anadolu, and our Ministry of Youth and Sports and our Ministry of National Defense, who spearheaded the event.
