Gürkan Aksoy, who is a candidate for the chairmanship in the ordinary general assembly to be held in Beşiktaş on Sunday, May 11, introduced the board of directors and talked about his plans and projects in the press conference he held.

Aksoy, who started his speech by expressing that they put Beşiktaş before everything else, said, "We are fans first and foremost, we are only Beşiktaş fans. We are the ones who go to every match with a scarf around our necks. We are the ones who love Beşiktaş without any ifs or buts. We are the ones who are after the emblem not to be loved by Beşiktaş but because we already love it. We are the ones who put Beşiktaş before everything else, coming from the stands."

Presidential Candidate Aksoy, who stated that there has been a worn-out order in Beşiktaş for a long time, said, "We are revolutionaries who rebel against this order. We are coming with an assertiveness to protect this passion and to carry our club back to where it belongs. Beşiktaş's president and managers should not be the men of any structure or person. With this belief, we became candidates with a management approach that defends the right of the crest. We are here to prevent the fans from bowing their heads wherever the crest is. We will also include the associations in the project."

Gürkan Aksoy also explained his projects regarding amateur branches. Aksoy said, "We will revive our amateur branches. These areas will be evaluated as the future of our club.
