Target Oscar nomination

The film, which is about to finish shooting in Antalya , includes names such as Hülya Duyar, Arzum Onan, Fikret Kuşkan and Necmi Yapıcı. Co-producer Mustafa Uslu stated that they are ambitious for an Oscar nomination. In the project, Hülya Duyar plays Gülsüm Kabadayı and Russian actor Leon Kemstach plays Umut. Arzum Onan, who accepted to play a role in a film after many years, plays Gülsüm Kabadayı's close friend Fatma. The project, which is planned to be released next year, will be on the silver screen simultaneously in Turkey, Russia, Belarus, China and 11 European countries.

'It might not have touched my heart 10 years ago'

Onan, who got in front of the camera with this film after many years, said, “When I read the script, I felt that we always need it a lot but for some reason I feel like we need it more these days; more love, more mercy, more conscience. These are the things that will really heal us. If I had read it 10 years ago, I would have liked it very much again but maybe it wouldn’t have touched my heart as much. Of course, it was a long time before I got in front of the camera again. Frankly, I was nervous.”
