Actor Emre Karayel got married to interior designer Gizem Demirci after eight years of relationship in November 2020. Two years after their marriage, the couple welcomed their first child, Can.

The couple, who experienced the joy of becoming parents for the first time in January 2022, named their baby boy Can, who was born weighing 3.5 kilograms and measuring 50 cm in length in a private hospital in Maltepe.
