Kadir İnanır, who fell ill on March 24, 2024, in his home in Beykoz, Istanbul and was taken to Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital, was taken into surgery and intubated as a precaution because he had a stroke as a result of a clot in the brain. With the treatment going well, İnanır was removed from intensive care on April 1 and discharged on April 4.

Last August, it was claimed that Kadir İnanır, who was treated at Yeditepe University Hospital due to an infection in his lungs, had a stroke and could not speak.

The master actor's life partner Jülide Kural denied this rumor: "There were some difficult times during the months-long treatment process. However, the strength of Fatsalı Kadir, who carries the power, anger, joy and in short the passion for living the Black Sea in his heart, was always determined to overcome all difficulties. I ask you not to listen to the fake news of the poor programs of the poor channels or the poor people who are after making money by getting clicks."

After regaining his health and being discharged, the 75-year-old artist, who is still in a physical therapy center and whose treatment is still ongoing, was recently visited by his friends. In the photographs taken, Kadir İnanır looked quite healthy.
