Murat Özdemir, the 12-year-younger husband of singer Ebru Gündeş (50), whom she married in Dubai on February 27, 2024, was detained from his house in Acarkent in the early morning on the grounds that he was a member of a criminal organization.

Özdemir, accused of being a member of the criminal organization led by Selahattin Yılmaz, was released yesterday after giving his statement at the Istanbul Courthouse.

It is alleged that Özdemir crashed into some organized industrial zones as per the instructions he received.

While Gündeş maintained her silence regarding her husband's detention, her post about her album "Beyaz", which she released in 2011, attracted attention.
