Statement from Health Minister Memişoğlu regarding the inclusion of some cancer drugs in the payment list

In his post on his social media account, Memişoğlu reminded that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared important good news for cancer patients in his statement following the cabinet meeting.

"IMMUNOTHERAPY DRUGS HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE SOCIAL SECURITY INSTITUTION'S REIMBURSEMENT LIST"

Minister Memişoğlu stated the following in his post;

Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, shared very important good news for our cancer patients.

Important immunotherapy drugs have been added to the Social Security Institution reimbursement list. This vital decision will bring hope to our patients whose treatment processes are ongoing.

May it be auspicious for everyone, especially our citizens receiving cancer treatment.

I would like to wholeheartedly thank our Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Vedat Işıkhan, and our Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mr. Mehmet Şimşek, for their strong cooperation and sensitivity in this process.
